With over 100 million users as of late, it is not surprising that businesses would use this social media for marketing purposes. - Utilize your brand name in your twitter username. There’s no better way to get your brand known than having it as a username.
- Follow people and engage in conversations with them. You can gain more clients if you follow people as they can potentially follow you back. Converse with them through twitter and answer their queries. Also, utilize the direct messaging options of twitter and send DM’s to relevant people. Don’t forget to re-tweet other people’s tweets too.
- Promote your Twitter on your website and other social media accounts. Link your accounts as well so that you can synchronize your posts.
- Utilize twitter for SEO. Use your keywords in your tweets and don’t forget to use hashtags so that people can find you easier.
